Another co-worker left to go back to college, so we gave him a farewell at his favorite dive bar.

Although a dive, it was fairly scrupulous about keeping out underage customers. As expected I got past the guy at the door without question, but when I went to order at the bar, the barkeeper said to me, joking, "Are you old enough to drink?"

"I don't know. What's the legal age the days?"

"21."

"Then I'll have two."
