pure speculation but I suppose if going direct to Arizona, they would fly through Pacheco Pass or maybe up the Delta towards Sacramento and then down the central valley and over Tehachapi.
Do you know where they're landing in Arizona? I think the original plan was to cut it into pieces and haul it by truck to the air museum...
