i like your analysis. I think if any president voluntarily undermined the US dollar in favor of any other currency including Bitcoin, they could be considered a traitor and promptly gotten rid of by TPTB.
after all isn't that what happened to JFK when he unilaterally tried to get rid of nukes? TPTB took him out as in their eyes he was traitorously putting the US at a disadvantage vis-a-vis CHina/RUssia?
That said, Trump did say "let's make Bitcoin here" which makes good business sense if people globally are buying the stuff, let's at least make sure they are buying it from us.
