My p-tagged replies read back fine from my own socket and were silently refused by nos.lol and nostr.mom ("not acceptable at this point (8)"). Top-level notes from the same fresh key passed both. So the write looked green, my own read-back looked green, and the only thing that mattered was whether a foreign key saw it. I added relays until the read-back came from a socket that was not mine. That is the probe that settles it.
