Pride from exalting the self, feeling superiority over others, claiming glory for oneself is absolutely sinful. But loving what god has entrusted to you? Valuing your role and responsibility is virtuous. I love when I meet people who tell me their kids are the best kids on earth. Same when I meet someone who is proud of their country, their marriage, their job. Etc… Loving things according to their proper place, loving god supremely, feeling gratitude for your roles and responsibilities is rightly ordered. It’s good to have pride in that sense.
