A Million or two sounds like a lot but wasn’t that the case 10 years ago. You cannot even buy a house in a major metro area below 1M. The it is difficult to live off passive income from the other 1M left. So you then need again work for someone else or run a company to make up the difference which obviously costs your time.&#xA;When time is hard currency then the author is wrong at least his threshold is too low.
