The basic use case is an encrypted off grid chat (dm and channels). It&#39;s not using internet or any other infrastructure. People build repeaters, often with solar panel and battery to cover wide areas (think hundreds of kilometers).&#xA;&#xA;The basic devices are around 40$ for a full node with battery and everything, solar node can be built for around 100$ (but you have to be clever where to put it, best on a hill, on a pole or hidden on top of a tree).&#xA;&#xA;It&#39;s something I wish people in Iran had right now for example.</html></oembed>
