BitVM, Ark and lightning are all going to suffer from this, and we&#39;re not talking about some speculative work, we&#39;re talking about updates that have been researched &amp; pending way longer than BIP110. The update process in Bitcoin is not about pushing &amp; bullying but about proving to the community that your solution is the absolute best one we can think off, and that the downside have been carefully thought about.&#xA;&#xA;So not only BIP110 is a bad upgrade, but it  would indefinitely prevent other, much better designed upgrade that have properly been trying to build consensus for longer than it has. 🤔</html></oembed>
