Kamala is a ten percent of the Jamaican moms or aunts where I grew up.&#xA;&#xA;*White people don&#39;t notice that effect because we all look alike to them.*&#xA;&#xA;Meanwhile, I think we can figure out who&#39;s the foreigner within 30 seconds. :-P&#xA;&#xA;A friend noted that in NYC, I&#39;m &#34;Haitian&#34;, but in Seattle where he grew up, I&#39;m just another black person. It&#39;s partially why I&#39;ve never really warmed up the idea of leaving New York, and I&#39;d prefer Canada where the bulk of the black population is composed of black immigrants, especially from my part of the world.</html></oembed>
