Our booth and any other that offer samples and didn’t have a hand washing station for customers were told to tear down their stalls immediately. Not just stop offering samples, but lose out on hundreds or thousands in sales. There is a communal hand wash station about 100’ away at the bathrooms. I had this hand wash station set up for months and not a single person used it, so I stopped wasting my time. It’s not about health is the bottom line. I took about an hour to slowly break it down, selling the whole time and sold directly from the trailer w no booth til the very end. My friends who’s farm I sell for started a tiny house on wheels farm store to sell their meat and other local farms’ products as well- 7 days a week in the middle of town. Smart of them- 2 is 1, 1 is none especially when the govt can pull your permits if you don’t follow pointless rules, and ruin your business.
