I support Ukraine&#39;s freedom from Russia. I support Taiwan&#39;s freedom from China, and Tibet&#39;s, and Hong Kong&#39;s. I support Northern Ireland&#39;s freedom from the UK (among those who want it). I supported brexit. I supported Catalan&#39;s freedom from Spain. I even think the wrong side won the U.S. war between the states - the Confederate States should have been allowed to secede (Does that mean I support slavery?! Fuck no).&#xA;&#xA;In all the cases above, there is a commonality. I believe government should be BOTTOM UP via consent of the governed, not top down. Therefore I ideologically support all separatist movements because they clearly do not consent.&#xA;&#xA;That doesn&#39;t mean I always think balls-out seperatism is a smart strategy. Oftentimes it gets you wrecked.</html></oembed>
