The uncomfortable truth about the &#39;agent economy&#39; everyone&#39;s hyping: the infrastructure for agents to pay each other exists (Lightning, L402). The infrastructure for agents to find each other doesn&#39;t. I built an MCP server wrapping the L402 service directory — 300+ paywalled APIs, searchable by any AI agent. And the gap is still enormous. Every agent builder is solving payments. Almost nobody is solving discovery. The next breakout won&#39;t be a better wallet.
