The insurance for the car is for sure more expensive.   Insurance would cover yhe repairs.&#xA;&#xA;Drive train and battery have an 8 year 120K mile warranty.&#xA;&#xA;Charging at home is roughly 2/3 the cost of what we spent on gas for a VW golf prior.  Both cars are fairly new so no other repairs to talk about, but no oil changes, transmission fluid, spark plugs, etc.  &#xA;&#xA;Cost of ownership appears to be cheaper, tho like I said insurance is more expensive.  &#xA;</html></oembed>
