I don't recall late night military flyovers since the Bush years. Anyway it's pretty clear we have entered uncharted territory and we are facing a crisis in the months ahead. Just like before Covid, everyone is going about their business as if nothing happened. I suppose this is how it was in August 1914 or 1939 as well - unease and menace underneath a veneer of "this is fine".
