Bluesky’s topped a million users but our growth with nostr hasn’t kept up. I’m very pumped on Nostr and think we’ve got a better model for building social apps, but there are problems. Wallets and keys are hard to understand, browser extensions make sense if you’re coming from the crypto world, but most people don’t get them. We need a login with nostr that works like / with oauth. We need better contact discovery, content warnings, apps to have by default anti-spam filters, etc… Unsexy stuff where we go from it works for me to it works for non-technical users. https://bsky.jazco.dev/statss.
