Seen the question asked, why are most clients basically the same; the answer seems simple enough: the primitives used to build nostr are focused on one thing, essentially. Which gets me wondering - beyond social, is nostr actually any much good for anything? I've been building Chronicle, but though it doesn't use any typical nostr social elements, it is still a "social" app, albeit one that's focused on giving families the ability to share stories and memories. Zap cooking is a great tool, and implements the social side of nostr nicely. Npub.pro is useful for sharing content outside of the nostr ecosystem. There's games and the obvious social element. There's marketplaces. All are essentially social media type tools. What is there, beyond social, that nostr would or could be useful for?
