Many stories of people who saved themselves and their families with a few gold pieces when SHTF. But I wouldn’t store my wealth in gold for the same reason I hold a small amount - if I have to get out of dodge, that shit is getting confiscated by the first man with a gun who crosses my path. Enough to buy safe passage so you can go somewhere, load up your seed and reclaim your BTC is the right amount of gold to hold.
