They tend to fall into a mamilian sympathy trap whereby animals with more facial mobility/recognition are somehow more sacred. on the whole it seems most ethical to raise, hunt & grow your own food where possible, and to locally & free range source always. Reducing your consumption to what our society would deem extreme is important too. overabundance & access has made us soft & delusional. just my two cents
