I originally got into BTC back in 2014 when I sold my longboard for bitcoin on some forum I don’t remember. I thought the tech was so cool and naturally I spent my BTC on beer and pizza (local pizza place accepted btc). I went off the grid for a bit and when I heard btc was getting more mainstream I was saddened to see it was dominated by fintech investor bros. I was not interested. I know people who cared about the tech have always been around but this has been the first time since 2014 that I have found folks who seem to be interested in the philosophy of BTC rather than just making money. It’s nice.</html></oembed>
