I didn't even know I was disembodied, I was just very bad at things everyone else thought were very easy. My doctor asked me about video games in our first session, which ones I preferred etc. I said I found FPS games claustrophobic because the hands were so close to the viewer, I preferred RPGs because I could see all around me like normal. And that's how at age 37 I learned that I was essentially playing the Sims my whole life and it was actually super abnormal to perceive things from above 🤣😂😭
