I did a bunch of testing on it because I still have one primary Windows PC, thumb drives and some external HD’s that aren’t entirely encrypted volumes. Any one of them could now be seized or stolen and there isn’t a single shred of useful data that could be accessed. I just keep backup copies of the original files and folders on a separate machine on a fully encrypted volume, so if this software ever had an issue, I’d still have a copy I could recover. And having separate offsite storage media locked down with Cryptomator pretty much eliminates the need to have the files in a Cryptomator vault stored on any cloud service.
