The liquid/lighting atomic swap trade off is something we discussed and for a lot of instances, the slight slower transaction speed is a trade off I can accept. The implementation in the bull wallet is very quick and has gotten quicker recently. However, lightning is still quicker and my recommendation for someone that wants a ‘pure’ non custodial lightning experience was to pair with something like nostr:nprofile1qqs2nsd66pv44e5avmytw4ejy7k7fn8fq7rczrnaexcy8v2y484xjcspzfmhxue69uhk7enxvd5xz6tw9ec82cspp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mq06ggfv . That being said, I personally feel like the specifics around managing channels is still pretty challenging for a lot of people and I find myself using nostr:nprofile1qqsf07zg4hxyccnkdp07fppxmetpfzru3fg6mgzx3nk8r7af8qnjjygpp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqpzemhxue69uhky6t5vdhkjmn9wgh8xmmrd9skcr5hurq for a lot of smaller/simple lighting transactions because it just works. I think there’s definitely a gap in the market for a simple non custodial lighting wallet that your grandma can use.</html></oembed>
