The not-so-funny thing is that the Bitcoin gang starts to sound a bit like any government. "Use our money, otherwise you're xyz." Not understanding that some people have legitimate concerns, and not wanting to listen, is exactly what a government does. Bitcoin being the only currency on this planet would be quite dangerous, and shit hits the fan when people start to believe their own propaganda.
