One must cooperate in works with the Church to justify his faith and maintain his salvation. The Reformation revolted against the idea that faith in Christ, the perfect savior, is not sufficient in itself to justify one to the Father. I am a covenantal protestant because I believe that by grace alone the Father has sent His Son to perfectly save His people by way of faith alone from Sin, redeeming them to Himself. Those in Christ have their life transformed, and a life in God's word, of repentance and sanctification, does result in good fruit (works). Good works is the benefit of being in Christ, not the prerequisite. #ToChristAlone
