One must cooperate in works with the Church to justify his faith and maintain his salvation.&#xA;&#xA;The Reformation revolted against the idea that faith in Christ, the perfect savior, is not sufficient in itself to justify one to the Father.&#xA;&#xA;I am a covenantal protestant because I believe that by grace alone the Father has sent His Son to perfectly save His people by way of faith alone from Sin, redeeming them to Himself. &#xA;&#xA;Those in Christ have their life transformed, and a life in God&#39;s word, of repentance and sanctification, does result in good fruit (works).&#xA;&#xA;Good works is the benefit of being in Christ, not the prerequisite. &#xA;&#xA;#ToChristAlone &#xA;&#xA;</html></oembed>
