It's really disappointing that alt-tech never became popular and people think that Nostr will make it big. Don't forget about XMPP, Matrix, Mastodon, ActivityPub, etc .....These have relatively smaller userbases compared to Twitter and it's not new. Did everyone forget history or was never exposed to these cool technologies? The end result is that the most people don't give a shit. I hope that Nostr really makes it big and becomes mainstream. The likely end result is that Nostr will be like Mastodon and have a few million users in segregated communities that hate each other
