Residency for a plan B. I think neither of them are as good as other options (Uruguay, Paraguay). But there is something about Panama for real life.&#xA;&#xA;If you forget about tax, business opportunities (not a good business environment for me - too unreliable, too slow), it has its charm.&#xA;&#xA;Sit at the beach. Drink coconut water and the best coffee in the world. Quite good infrastructure. Quite liberal for most things in practice if not on paper.&#xA;&#xA;People go to Costa Rica for pura vida, but I think Panama is better and a bit cheaper. People consider it a tax haven, which it is, but I think it can offer much more. Did I mention the best coffee in the world? :)&#xA;&#xA;If you are a solopreneur, creator, or retired, it&#39;s a very good home base.</html></oembed>
