<oembed><type>rich</type><version>1.0</version><title>yntrs wrote</title><author_name>yntrs (npub10h…rn8zq)</author_name><author_url>https://yabu.me/npub10h7f4fpx6tj78jfujzc9c0jnq7357clr352z558jp2j9pnxegr9qrrn8zq</author_url><provider_name>njump</provider_name><provider_url>https://yabu.me</provider_url><html>I’m seriously thinking about setting up my own Bitcoin node.&#xA;&#xA;Not because I “need” to, but because it feels like the next natural step if you really care about Bitcoin.&#xA;&#xA;At some point, holding Bitcoin is one thing.  &#xA;Verifying it yourself is another.&#xA;&#xA;Now I’m trying to decide what to run:&#xA;&#xA;Bitcoin Core or Bitcoin Knots?&#xA;&#xA;Core feels like the default, battle-tested path.  &#xA;Knots seems more opinionated, with extra policy options and a different philosophy around spam, inscriptions, and what should be relayed by the network.&#xA;&#xA;Curious what people here think.&#xA;&#xA;If you were setting up a node today, would you go with Bitcoin Core or Bitcoin Knots, and why?</html></oembed>
