I can’t find a good estimate for total global spending on policing, but it’s probably at least another few hundred billion dollars. Anyone who thinks that coercive hierarchies are the natural human default, and thinks that egalitarian freedom is an expensive aberration, needs to take even a cursory glance at how fucking expensive it is for our elites to maintain their power over us.
