I&#39;ll ask my Bitcoin core context in claude from when I did the core v knots analysis too.&#xA;&#xA;Personally, I run a node on a mini pc using an external hard disk drive for storage. I was a little worried, but it works fine without needing SSD speeds. IBD was long, but reasonable. I lost network for a couple weeks and it only took a few hours to sync back up. Blocks really would have to require magnitudes more processing time for my node to fall behind. And it&#39;s hard to rack up magnitudes in such a bounded system.</html></oembed>
