It's ACKNOWLEDGMENT—NOT from the perpetrator, but from the BYSTANDERS.
The people who ARE PRESENT and do NOTHING when they see the mistreatment.
Acknowledgment of:
* THAT mistreatment
* The HARM
* That it is WRONG. UNACCEPTABLE. PERIOD.
I want the bystanders DENOUNCING that crime. Saying: NO ONE deserves that treatment.
SPEAK UP. STAND UP. STOP THEM.
Shift the shame—leave it OFF victims, put it ON the shoulders of the perpetrator.
(Perpetrator shamed and embarrassed. NOT victims.)
