Busking or begging for money is not a sustainable model. We need to have three models - free interrupted with adverts, ad free model with subscriptions and a third way where you pay only for what you listen too. I am a massive advocate of V4V but lets be honest its not getting mass adoption because the mainstream sees no value in it. Why pay for the same free podcast on Apple?
