People are ready to see you make linguistic mistakes. So they laugh easily. What&#39;s really hard is being taken seriously. Writing a very clever joke and winning an Emmy award with it will be difficult for foreigners. Not because people think you&#39;re not eligible, but because people won&#39;t follow the trajectory of your artistic experiment as you anticipate. Things like poetic license may not be easily allowed for foreigners. </html></oembed>
