I left on friendly terms and still do the occasional work for them, maintaining some software I wrote for them. They gather up a list of wishes over time and commission me to work on it for a set number of hours every now and again.\n\nA little while ago they asked me to put in two days of work, for which I sent an invoice.\n\nSo far so good."}
