They are integrated with Nostr in a way that allows the sats sent to be tallied and displayed on an individual user's note. Everyone can then see the value of that individual note. That is the key point.\n\nIf your Lightning wallet does not support Zaps, you can still send Lightning tips, they will just not be counted and displayed on Nostr. You can still send and receive sats!
