They tend to be people who work on Nostr as a side-gig. They already have everything setup and are experts in sys admin and stuff, and this is their passion project. That's why they don't need to do it full-time, for it to be very reliable service.\n\nIt's like, if you go to a bakery and the baker is planning on baking 10 cakes that day, and you ask him to also bake some muffins, while he's at it. The additional cost of baking the muffins is minimal, and it's nice to sometimes get the chance to bake something other than a cake. You can't imagine how sick you can get of having to bake cakes all friggin day.\n\nNow, would you get better muffins, from someone who only bakes muffins? Yes, probably. But he then has to find enough people who want only muffins. But the market for cakes is 10x larger. If the muffins are a hit and people start placing more orders, he can scale down the cakes and scale up the muffins. It's all using the same flour and the same oven and the same baker..."}
