Previous Nazis accusations implied he's as bad as a Nazis. That salute would imply card carrying Hitler loving nazi. He's not that. I also just don't buy the hand waiving of it was an accident or is just like other stills of people doing that.\n\nPossible non exhaustive answers.\n\nHe really is THAT socially awkward\n\nHe is seeing where the line is if he shows his true colors (doesn't make sense given this administration and policy proposals)\n\nHe is signaling to Trumps base that likes that kind of stuff\n\nHe is an edgelord to the point of crass untastefulness beyond what I comprehend.\n\nI lean onto one of the latter two explanations but am not satisfied with either. \n\n"}
