Back then I thought it had such a positive vibe; made me feel better, and maybe others too.\n\nOne time, as usual, I greeted a friend with \"good morning\". It wasn't exactly morning actually. The person completely freaked out, saying, \"because you're a lazy university student, you've been sleeping all day, so now it's morning for you\". It was a total \"triggered liberal\" meme. And yeah, at the time I was surrounded by that left-liberal university environment.\n\nSo I learned that you shouldn't say \"good morning\" without a proper reason. It's not socially sensitive; I might even offend someone with it. Over time I also realized that anything positive, cheerful, or uplifting could annoy people just as much.\n\nAnd now here I am on Nostr. And I say \"good morning\", and everyone is happy about it, because here it's the social norm. It feels like being 20 again... but this time, for real!"}
