Lets take the latter. You have the market for jigsaw puzzles, with people designing and selling them, you have people creating content around the puzzles discussing or solving them. There are tournaments of all sorts where puzzles are done competatively. \n\nIt does not really matter what the ''community'', or perhaps you can call it ''hobby'' is. The thing i want to draw attention to here is the interaction and organization surrounding it. \n\nThe internet facilitated a lot of these things, allowing people with shared interest to find eachother regardless of where they are on this earth, as well as give them to tools do perform these interactions and manage organizing things. \n\nYoutube channels, websites, reddit stuff, tweets, we use what these platfoms provide in order to do all these things. Nostr is an obvious (to me/us) answer. You can create whatever bespoke app/client/enfornment for your hobby/community, on this interoperable substrate. The infrastructure won't be dependent on a particular company, and the community is never forced into some migration. Ofcourse, within that infrastrure things may shift in terms of both actors, relays and apps used, but there are always these interoperable tie-ins that generally keep things ''together''. \n\nnostr:npub1utx00neqgqln72j22kej3ux7803c2k986henvvha4thuwfkper4s7r50e8 mentioned it in its interview with nostr:npub15u3cqhx6vuj3rywg0ph5mfv009lxja6cyvqn2jagaydukq6zmjwqex05rq that \"Bitcoiners\" are just the first ''community'' to addopt Nostr. As a result ''we'' (partially) molded the environment around this interest.\n\nIn a way, what Nostr needs, or perhaps could use/benefit from, is taking whatever particular interest/hobby you have and ''community'' you are in, to take the environment that Nostr provides and build an infrastructure for it and convince the others in the community to use it. \n\nNot saying that it is easy/trivial, but it atleast is a somewhat clear ambition.\n\nAn agenda nip/standard becomes more valuable to more clubs of whatever kind use it to organize their meetups and competitions. \n\nThe more standards become more standard, the more the standard which these standards function becomes move valuable.\n\nWhere do we want to build and acrew the value?"}
