I lived in the PNW near Seattle. I was unhappy.\n\nNow I've been self employed for almost a year. I published my own peer reviewed journal article, won a national award and presented at a national conference. I traveled around the country learning a lot about the reality of our national situation after living most of my life in the coastal cities. I finished a very silly novel which I'm still editing. I'm switching my tech stack to FOSS wherever possible because I believe freedom tech and decentralization is the solution to a lot of the problems we see these days.\n\nI also went down some super deep strange rabbit holes. My doctor recommended I join a \"psy-gym\" as he believed my symptoms were not mental illness but rather uncontrolled gifts. I've now accepted it as normal that my life is full of high strangeness from ghosts to spoon bending. I do a lot of dream work, meditation, and consciousness research.\n\nI mostly post about cooking and my puppy.
