There seems to be an enormous number of 1 bedroom studio apartments, probably built for tourism \u0026 not necessarily suitable for permanent accommodation. We’re more than happy to book cheap \u0026 cheerful 3 star hotels, \u0026 will do so when possible, on principle. Limiting our stay in busy Barcelona, partly due to costs, but also crowds. Part of the problem is tourists with limited time who cram into tourist hotspots, neglecting the rest of the country."}
