Cela permet beaucoup de choses, mais cela entraîne aussi des effets secondaires massifs : congestion, frais, exposition publique de la logique métier, surface d’attaque importante, hacks à répétition, et prolifération de tokens sans grande substance.</p> <p>RGB prend une autre route.</p> <p>L’objectif : apporter de la programmabilité à Bitcoin, tout en conservant ses qualités fondamentales. Sécurité, robustesse, rareté de l’espace de bloc, vérification souveraine, absence de permission.</p> <p>En clair : utiliser Bitcoin comme socle de sécurité, mais sans déverser toute la logique applicative directement dans la blockchain.</p> <p>C’est là que l’expression “post-blockchain smart contracts” prend tout son sens.</p> <h2 id="la-validation-côté-client-le-cœur-du-modèle-2">La validation côté client : le cœur du modèle</h2> <p>Le concept central de RGB est la <strong>client-side validation</strong>, ou validation côté client.</p> <p>Au lieu de demander à tout le réseau de vérifier toutes les opérations, chaque utilisateur vérifie localement les contrats qui le concernent. Les données ne sont pas stockées directement sur la blockchain Bitcoin. Elles restent dans des espaces dédiés à RGB, échangées entre les utilisateurs concernés.</p> <p>Conséquence directe : un observateur extérieur ne voit pas nécessairement qu’un smart contract est utilisé. Il ne voit pas non plus les appels au contrat, ni les résultats produits.</p> <p>C’est un changement architectural profond.</p> <p>Là où beaucoup de blockchains exposent tout par défaut, RGB part d’un principe inverse : la confidentialité est native. Le smart contract reste dans le cercle de ses utilisateurs.</p> <h2 id="programmabilité-confidentialité-scalabilité-2">Programmabilité, confidentialité, scalabilité</h2> <p>RGB cherche à répondre à plusieurs tensions classiques du monde blockchain : scalabilité, décentralisation, confidentialité, sécurité, disponibilité.</p> <p>L’intervention revient notamment sur les compromis techniques derrière RGB, Lightning et Bitcoin. Rien n’est magique. Il y a toujours des arbitrages. RGB ouvre la possibilité de construire des carnets d’ordres et des mécanismes de swap sur Bitcoin, avec des actifs comme l’USDT, sans dépendre directement d’un exchange centralisé pour chaque opération.</p> <p>C’est encore jeune. C’est encore rugueux. Mais c’est précisément là que ça devient intéressant.</p> <h2 id="pourquoi-cette-vidéo-compte-2">Pourquoi cette vidéo compte</h2> <p>Cette conférence est importante parce qu’elle aborde un angle rarement traité en français : comment faire évoluer les usages de Bitcoin sans trahir Bitcoin.</p> <p>Le débat est souvent caricatural.</p> <p>D’un côté, ceux qui veulent tout mettre sur la blockchain, au risque de transformer Bitcoin en terrain vague applicatif.
