This one is a composite of a zoomed in moon-photo and a long exposure landscape photo. The moon was actually there , but overexposed. I then cooied the moon image, flipped it and placed it in the water as a reflection. It’s a lot easier to do now than it was back then :)

It’s interesting that throughout my journey on Nostr, I’ve learned more about human behavior than about technology itself.
We already understand how follows and likes work—they tap into the human psyche, fueling validation and attention-seeking. But I find that Zaps are a particularly useful tool, not just because they can be profitable, and kinda a circular economy but because they also give you a sense of how much people genuinely appreciate you.
The “zap” phenomenon is revealing. It shows who truly connects with and supports you, and the amount of Sats sent reflects how much they resonate with either you or what you’re posting.
If someone follows you but never zaps, they’re likely just passive viewers—maybe even low-key haters, sticking around out of morbid curiosity.

If you timelock a UTXO / transaction for a kid 18 years in the future what approach would you take to ensure:
1. The required information isn’t lost / forgotten over those 18 years
2. It remains secure and can’t be swept by anyone else obtaining the details
3. The specific tech used doesn’t become obsolete potentially rendering it inaccessible

The longer I'm away from America the more bittersweet it feels. I miss the American spirit, many of the freedoms and conveniences. Definitely miss my friends and fellow anarchists/Bitcoiners.
But I am glad I left when I did. Before the rampant inflation, before the poisonous food killed me, before medical debt could cripple me, before the woke liberal mindvirus permiated my social circles, and before Nature's most recent revenge.
Yeah, Russia's got problems for sure, but they become smaller every year as America's grow into unmanageable disasters. I have more & more people contacting me asking for visa advice and Russian lessons. More opportunities for growth and community bulding.
Yet I miss America.

Gm. I’m Italian. I am not looking for a country that is pro-bitcoin because I knew from the beginning that bitcoin was born to turn the tables and that governments would do anything to stop it.
I am not deluded, I know what it is like to be David against Goliath and to lose everything in the face of power.
I am not afraid that my state is against bitcoin, I know it is a state of mobsters and corrupt people, but hey, it’s all there: it is obvious and it is clear.
I know I don't have to trust anyone and I have to protect myself and my family if I want to live in the country that I deeply love. That’s why I bitcoin.
Now. As long as everyone is giving us mockery I would like to say that I would be more afraid if my state was 'pro bitcoin.' That's where bitcoiners become boiled frogs.
