Hashboards are 12vDC which is easy enough to produce, however is susceptible to voltage drop without very large cable. As such, most PV modules run at a higher voltage. You would need to use charge controllers that step power down from a higher voltage coming off of the PV array to 12v for a battery bank. You then need the miners to be very close to the batteries to save on copper.
