BTC feels like a modern — albeit far less natural (i.e. of Earth) — substitute. 1971 was a shit year for humanity… so I appreciate the need for BTC and have been in since 2018 myself thanks to hearing several passionate rants from some crypto bros friends in Colorado at the time. <br/><br/>This may sound strange, but as a woman, I do prefer gold. If I have a choice between something that is of the earth directly, and something that is of a machine, disconnected from Her, I will desire to choose the earth every time. Even when that brings limitations. (And yes, I am invested in gold as well as BTC). <br/><br/>This is starting to sound nostalgic, but I have an odd longing for the days when you could trust that a person’s money was backed by something physical. A crop. A herd of cows. Regular physical training being the biggest shift. The thing is, it literally goes both ways in a value-aligned union. He has adopted many habits of mine as well (mostly re: nutrition, bodywork, self-care) that align with his deepest values.
