I feel like people leap to conclusions - usually the harshest version they can, when they see me say some very reasonable things.

This conversation isn't necessarily directed to me, but it might help clarify for people that I prefer using "children" because its *supposed* to be clarifying: basically when I say it, I mean someone younger than teenaged, and usually before puberty. There's some crossover with "adolescent" around the 12ish year range, but it's still a lot more precise.

However, definitions have gotten so mixed up nowadays that people will often broadly equate anyone under 18 as a "child". So I'll say things like "I don't think adults should have sexual contact with children" and people will pounce on me like "Okay wow, seriously? So you think it's always wrong no matter what, even if one person is 16 and the other is 18??" Like no bitch, that's a whole different sentence 😂

Now, I'm admittedly not an expert on Pro-C spaces. But I will say that I have seen dozens of people arguing for why children can consent to sex with adults.

And I have never once seen one of those people arguing for why children should be allowed to vote.

That would be one of the first practical steps when it comes to giving children more rights in society - and it doesn't seem to even occur to people.

It is almost as if the focus isn't really on giving kids more rights and more choices at all.

But hey, like I said, I'm no expert.

We are in a battle for the souls of the MAP community, based around a simple question:

Is our goal to protect children - or to exploit them?

Today, NNIA.space is closing down. This is yet another blow to the Anti-Contact community - and yet another victory for the Pro-Contact community.

Indeed, the last decade has been nothing but a string of unmitigated victories for the Pro-Contact community. They have so thoroughly dominated our online spaces that it is hard to imagine ever recovering from it.

No one in the MAP community seems either able or willing to resist this, in any way, shape of form.

It is not only children who will inevitably suffer from this, but also MAPs, ourselves. So many of us now seem dead-set on becoming the predators that the ignorant public already thinks we are.

I am disappointed. And I am worried for the future we are building today.

If you can find a way to resist, then I implore you to do so. To remain silent is to give support for the way things are headed.

It is never okay for an adult to touch a child sexually. And this is a hill worth dying on.
