      Body scanning is a good start, but awareness alone isn’t enough.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;You can feel your body all day, but if that awareness isn’t tied to function, nothing actually changes. The purpose of body awareness is to build mechanosensitivity, so your tissues can send clear signals back to the brain and drive real adaptation.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Most approaches stop at awareness. At FP, the goal is to pair awareness with movement that gets dormant muscles to fire and makes calcified, stagnant areas more adaptable. That’s what creates change at the cellular level and gives the body new information to work with.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The body leads, the brain follows.       Humans move through rotation, but most people can’t produce force through it.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The transverse plane is where everything starts to fall apart. It exposes inefficiencies immediately, which is why most training avoids it. Linear movements are easier to coach, easier to load, and easier to hide dysfunction.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;But if you can’t control and load rotation, you’re leaking energy every time you move. That shows up as reduced performance and eventually increased risk of injury.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;At FP, the goal is to train rotation directly.
