The top level is 12” deep with the rest 16” deep. The only shelves I bought this go-round were for the top level. All the others were “stolen” from the FL house. I was able to use two studs going this route. I cut ~10” off the left track so I could use the stud in the middle. The cut’s a little crooked causing a tiny gap. Oops. It’s also ~3” from the left wall.<br/><br/>I used 1/4” toggle bolts as anchors, each rated for 265 lbs on 1/2” drywall. The closet is ~95” wide. The longest top track they sell is 85”. My initial plan was to center the track and leave 5” of shelving off each side. However, by going that route I won’t hit any studs. Instead, I’m going to buy two 50” top tracks and cut them to size to have the track take up the full length of the closet.
