Also, proper punctuation is much appreciated, because otherwise, if there is none, the screen reader reads it like a big run-on sentence. I can tell when people have dictated their posts and have not bothered to put in punctuation.

For example, when someone posts like 10 faces and 10 people dancing, and a whole string of ridiculousness, it is very obnoxious to read. Gifs are questionable. Many of them do not translate. The other annoyance is when pictures are posted without alt text, or even useful alt text. Also, if you are using hashtags, and they are multiple words, it is helpful to capitalize the first letter of each word. The screen reader may not pronounce it correctly if this is not done. All of this said, I appreciate your willingness to make sure that all can participate. It is refreshing to find this kind of perspective.
