Outdoor meshtastic node is complete! It's using a RAK wisblock with a 5dBi antenna and a tiny little solar panel to charge the 3000mAh 18650 battery. It's sitting in my attic right now but I'm already picking up some nearby nodes (albeit with barely usable signal strength). I can't wait to actually get it on my chimney so I can get the best signal possible!!
#meshtastic

Got some #meshtastic nodes! I have better antennas on the way but so far it looks like there is nobody else around me :neocat_cry:

Any tips for extending range or connecting to others? Do I just need to wait for my antennas to come in?
