We used to have the french blood orange soda at THX. Company provided tho' only secretaries were allowed to access the closet where they resided. A big slob ill-tempered fat lady controlled access (I was always afraid she would sit on me).

Thus the secretaries played a game where they would hide them in aforesaid closet then insert three or four in the fridge to be cold just before lunchtime! Occasoinally I'd finish debugging or whatever and get to the fridge at 11:45 and... yumm!

Ahh yeah forgot I have the gold disc release too. It was nice but the EQ is off. The album to look for, if you don't have it, is the copy of DSOTM for SQ/quadraphonic. That EQ on that vinyl release was the best.

Partially coz on CD they could pump up da booma booma to make the buyers happy. On the quad-sq disc they had to be careful with the levels. So it's more mmm... civilized and you can hear everything clearly. That's the only copy of DSOTM I enjoy at all these days.

Am sorta not being facetious here that is how I use it. I RDP into it from my Mac, which has the network conn.

Once every few months I connect Win11 to the net to download some AI turd other than that everything gets funneled through local networking+MacOS.

As a fully disconnected system I find Win11 to be a very nice OS. I sorta consider it to be the next iteration of DOS 3.3

So...
Linux is a great connected OS.
Win11 is best used as a non-network OS.

When I was living there a few years back I got the impression that various agencies are encouraging people to leave.

After the next big earthquake a lot of land will be cleared out for parks+large lots for the wealthy.

For example, cities from Long Beach to Malibu are on prime real estate but embody dilapidated infrastructure. Best to start over with 1-2 acre lots that won't risk a lot of lost life when earthquakes hit.
